Parent entity

K-now.co is the parent company. It holds intellectual property, maintains banking relationships, and serves as the legal counterparty for consumer and commercial dealings involving its incubator projects during their seed phase.

Trade names (DBA)

Affiliated projects may operate under registered trade names— commonly called DBA (“doing business as”) or fictitious business name filings. A trade name permits public-facing use of a distinct brand while remaining part of the same legal entity. It does not, by itself, create a separate company.

Accordingly, contracts, payments, and consumer relations conducted under an affiliated project name are, unless otherwise stated in writing, obligations of K-now.co.

Growth and spin-off

As a project outgrows the incubator stage, it may be reorganized as an independent legal entity—such as an LLC, corporation, or other domestic or foreign form suited to its operations. Until that occurs, the project remains under the authority and responsibility of K-now.co.

What this means for counterparties

Parties dealing with a K-now.co project brand may rely on K-now.co as the entity of record for authenticity of the business relationship, subject to the ordinary terms of any agreement entered into.
